Jag diskar och pillar bort etiketter och sorterar in julklappsglasen i skåpen. Alltså, fatta hur smarta Riedel är. Det ska vara löparskor och walkingskor och cykelskor och barfotaskor och hikingskor och aerobicsskor och innebandyskor och ett till par löparskor att varva med. Och då har vi inte ens börjat prata om de riktigt specialiserade skorna (spikskor, anyone?). De är alla lite olika, visst. Men det går att använda sneakers rakt av också.

Poängen är att man inte vill.

Och det är i viljan – vad vi önskar, åtrår – som normerna bor som tryggast. Det är när marknadsförarna lyckas nå in dit som de verkligen lyckats. När de klarar av att ändra vårt synsätt på behov och prioriteringar, och får oss att tänka att vi egentligen behöver speciella walkingskor.

Eller chardonnayglas.

Det enda som förtar glädjen i att sortera in nya glas i skåpen är känslan av att man är så himla lurad.
