I helgen hade Fabian sin första fotbollsträning.

Vi stod emot den amerikanska barnaktivitetshetsen ganska länge tycker jag. När vi flyttade hit gick de flesta av hans ettåriga kompisar på music class, babysim och gymnastik varje vecka, men de där klasserna var ju mest en ursäkt för mammorna att ses och fylla vardagarna med något som rättfärdigade att de inte jobbade. Vi skippade helt den biten och var nöjda med det.

Men nu är han ju drygt två och ett halvt, och även om jag knappast inbillar mig att han behöver de där aktiviteterna så får han ju i alla fall ut något av dem. Så nu har han börjat med fotboll och simning på lördagsmorgnarna.

Och i luckan mellan hans två sporter så ägnar vi oss åt den aktivitet som vi föräldrar föredrar.
